Shere Delight!
One of my Christmas treats each year is a trip to a gorgeous little village in Surrey called Shere. It’s a perfect little patch of England with its old cottages, duck pond and pretty shops, and it’s a popular film location too. The lovely Christmas rom com, The Holiday, was filmed there.
After buying a few last-minute Christmas gifts and a big bag of chestnuts to roast, it was off the Surrey Hills which were covered in snow. Whilst the husband painted the view, Molly and I strode out into it.
So it looks like we’ll be having a white Christmas here in the UK and I hope that you all have a very merry one! Thank you all for visiting my blog this year and for all your lovely comments too. See you in the New Year! xx
What a beautiful place, Shere is. I love that film and I’ve just noticed it’ll be on this Christmas, so no doubt I’ll be watching it again.
Hope you and yours have a wonderful Christmas. x
