It’s been a wonderful summer here in Suffolk. We’ve had some fabulously warm days which I’ve spent in the garden planting roses and photographing them.

The hens have enjoyed the summer sun…

Although the hot days have taken their toll on Dotty and Primrose who have spent a fair amount of time snoozing – sometimes on a lap and occasionally with a Kindle resting on top of them.

Neighbours’ cherries have been picked, eaten and stored:

Oh, and books have been written, edited and prepared for publication!
