We’ve just been sent a copy on DVD and it’s lovely – really sweet and magical. I’m so proud to have inspired such a gorgeous film! It was even shown on the silver screen at the Biberach film festival in Germany and, as my husband and I made an appearance in it ourselves, I think we can now officially call ourselves movie stars!

There was also the Egmont party at the London Transport Museum – a lively gathering of children’s writers and illustrators where we all got to behave like children for the evening – jumping on and off old buses and ancient trains.

We also went into hiding for a fortnight in beautiful Devon and Cornwall. Here’s a pic of me and Molly at the magical monument, Men an Tol in Penwith.

And, at long last, I’ve finished writing my magical romance, The Curious Collection. Just editing it now and making sure it’s all in order, and then I’m going to get straight on with a new romantic comedy – more about that soon!
