Venice really is the most magical place and I was lucky enough to spend a whole week there whilst writing The Unmasking of Elena Montella (Wenn es dich gibt). My husband and I stayed in an artist’s apartment in Cannaregio which I used as the setting of my novel. Here are some pictures from our time in Venice back in 2004.
